Bring a teammate into
the workspace they need.
A new teammate needs access to one workspace, with the right permissions, and you want to know what they’ll see when the invitation arrives.
By the end, your teammate has a pending invitation to the workspace with the role you picked, and you can manage it until they respond.
Before you start
- Access to the workspace settings, with permission to invite members.
- Your teammate’s full name and email address.

Here's how to invite a teammate into one workspace, with a role that sets what they can do.
In the workspace settings, Members lists everyone in this workspace and their role. To add someone, click Invite member.
Type their full name and email.
Then assign a role: Project Manager or Media Producer. The role decides what they can do in this workspace.
Click Send invitation.
Under Invitations, Sam's invitation is Pending, with the role you picked.
Sam gets an email with a Join Workspace Now button. The invitation expires in 7 days.
The link shows who invited them, to which workspace, and what the role allows. As a Media Producer, Sam can upload, edit, and download assets and post comments, but can't delete assets or invite people to this workspace.
When Sam clicks Accept, they create an account and join the workspace.
While it's pending, you can change its role right in this list, copy its link, or delete it.
For a pending invitation, Resend becomes available 30 minutes after it's sent.
Someone already in your organization is added right away, without an invitation to accept, and gets an email saying so. Each new person takes a seat; with Autoscale off, you need a free seat to invite someone new.
