Add an extra sign-in check
to your account.
A password alone protects your account, and if someone else learns it, they can sign in as you.
By the end, two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, your backup codes are saved, and you know what the extra step at sign-in looks like.
Before you start
- An authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Your current YetOnePro password.

Here's how to turn on two-factor authentication, so signing in takes your password and a code from your phone.
Two-factor authentication is a setting on your own account. Open Account, then Profile, and the Account tab. Under Security, click Manage.
Click Enable two-factor authentication, and first confirm it's you with your current password.
Then scan the QR code with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, and click Continue. If you can't scan it, you can show a key to type in instead. We've hidden the code in this video.
Enter the six-digit code the app shows, and click Verify.
You now get ten backup codes. Each one works once, if you ever lose your phone. Copy or download them, keep them somewhere safe, tick the box, and click Done.
Security now shows two-factor authentication as Enabled, with ten backup codes remaining.
When you sign in, YetOnePro may ask for the code from your app after your password. It asks less often on a device you trust.
Lost your phone? Switch to Backup Code and enter one of your saved codes instead.
Tick Trust this device for thirty days only on a computer that is yours.
Back in Security, Regenerate backup codes gives you a fresh set and cancels the old one. Disable 2FA turns the protection off. Both ask for a code from your app, or one of your backup codes.
Keep your backup codes somewhere safe, away from your phone. They're your way back in if the phone is lost.
