Show your team exactly
what needs to change.
You’re reviewing work in the portal, and a note like “make the logo bigger” would leave your team guessing which logo and by how much.
By the end, you’ll have pinned a comment on the exact spot of an image, said what should change, and posted it for your team.
Before you start
- You’re signed in to the portal from your team’s review email.
- The asset you want to comment on is an image. On other assets, you write a plain comment.

Show your team exactly what needs to change.
This is the portal from your review email, and you're already signed in. Click the asset you want to comment on.
Open the Comments tab. Notes from your team show up here too.
A note like make the logo bigger leaves your team guessing. Which logo, and by how much?
So click Pin on image, then click the exact spot.
Now say what should change. A number helps.
Then click Post comment.
Your comment gets a number, and the same number marks the spot on the image. Your team sees it pinned right there.
More than one change? Add a pin for each. Pins work on images. On other assets, write a plain comment.
A comment isn't a decision. Approve and Request changes are on the Review tab, and sending your answer has its own video.
In short: open the asset, go to Comments, click Pin on image and then the spot, say what should change, and post. Your decision goes on the Review tab.
Search across all videos and guides.
Point at the spot, then say what should change.
This guide is for clients. A note like “make the logo bigger” leaves your team guessing: which logo, and by how much? A pinned comment answers both. In the video, Maya Chen at Harbor & Pine pins a comment on the logo of a bottle design.
You’re already signed in to the portal from your team’s review email. If not, start with Review work your creative team sent you.

Pins work on images. On other assets, write a plain comment that says what should change and where. - 04
Say what should change
Write what should change. A number helps, for example “Make the logo about 20% bigger. It gets lost at shelf distance.” Then click Post comment.
- 05
Your comment and its pin
Your comment gets a number, and the same number marks the spot on the image. Your team sees it pinned right there.
More than one change? Add a pin for each, one comment per change.

Where the decision goes
A comment isn’t a decision. Approve and Request changes are on the Review tab, and sending your answer is in Approve work, or send it back with changes.
In short: open the asset, go to Comments, click Pin on image and then the spot, say what should change, and post. Your decision goes on the Review tab. For how your team pins feedback on their side, see Show exactly where an image needs changing.
Check the result
- You opened the asset and the Comments tab.
- You clicked Pin on image, then the exact spot.
- You said what should change, with a number where it helps.
- You posted the comment and saw its number on the image.
If it didn’t work
I don’t see Pin on image.
Pins work on images only. On other assets, write a plain comment that says what should change and where.
I need more than one change on the same image.
Add a pin for each change. Each comment gets its own number, and the same number marks its spot on the image.
Does my comment approve or reject the asset?
No. A comment isn’t a decision. Approve and Request changes are on the Review tab.
I placed the pin but nothing was saved.
The pin is saved with your comment. Write what should change and click Post comment.
