Try a full client review
on a sample image.
Practice uploading, visual feedback, and sharing for review with a sample product image.
By the end, you’ll have a review link, precise visual feedback, and a clear separation between team notes and client comments.
Before you start
- A YetOnePro workspace you can upload to.
- The sample bottle image (PNG, 1.7 MB), or your own image.

Try a full client review on a sample image.
Start in Upload. Click Choose files and select the sample product image.
Upload the sample image. We'll use it to discuss the requested change with the client.
Open Assets. Expand the view menu and choose Masonry to browse the image previews.
Open the image once its preview is ready. Our creative team is preparing this bottle campaign. The client has asked for a burnt-orange cap.
Start with a note for your team. Open Comments, then choose Draw a comment.
Choose the rectangle tool and mark the cap. This makes the requested change easy to locate.
Set the note to Internal, so only your team can see it. Explain that the cap should be burnt orange, while the bottle body stays unchanged.
Next, add a separate comment for the client. Mark the cap again, so they can confirm the exact area before your team changes the design.
Choose Client for this comment. Ask them to confirm the area to change, then save your question.
The question is ready. Return to Info and open Share to give the client access to the image and the discussion.
Choose Anyone with the link, then For review. The client can view the image and leave comments through the review link.
Keep downloads off for this review. The link expires in thirty days, so access is time limited.
Create the review link. It gives the client access to the marked area and the discussion. Copy the link to send it to them.
Now let's see the review from the client's side. Open the link in a separate browser session.
Open Comments and select the question to see the marked cap. The client can see this question, while your internal note stays with the team.
The client can reply here to confirm the change. In this example, only the cap should change; the bottle body stays the same.
You've uploaded a file, made the feedback precise, and checked the client's view. You're ready to try the same workflow with your own work.

Confirm a client’s requested change.
Your creative team is preparing a bottle campaign. The client wants the cap changed to burnt orange, with the bottle body left as it is. Before editing the image, you need to record that instruction for your team and ask the client to confirm the area to change.
You’ll mark the cap, leave a private team note, and create a separate question the client can answer through a review link. The image stays unchanged during this walkthrough. Sign in to YetOnePro and open your workspace to follow along, using the sample image above or one of your own.
- 01
Upload and open the sample image
In your workspace’s left sidebar, open Upload. Click Choose files, select the sample image from your computer, then click Upload 1 file. Wait for the upload to finish.
Open Assets in the left sidebar to find the uploaded file. To browse image thumbnails, open the view selector beside the Assets heading and choose Masonry. Once the preview is ready, double-click the image to open it.
- 02
Mark the change for your team
In the open file, select the Comments tab at the top of the right sidebar. In the toolbar along the bottom of the image, choose Draw a comment.
Select the rectangle tool, confirm the tool selection, then drag a rectangle around the cap. A comment editor opens for the marked area.
Set the comment’s visibility to Internal. Enter: “Client requested a burnt-orange cap. Keep the bottle body unchanged.” Click Save. This note tells your team what to change and stays private when you share the file with the client.
- 03
Ask the client to confirm the area
Click outside the open comment to close it. Choose Draw a comment again from the image toolbar, select and confirm the rectangle tool, and mark the cap again.
Set this new comment to Client. Enter: “Please confirm the cap is the area to update to burnt orange.” Click Save. You now have a client-visible question attached to the exact part of the image you plan to edit.
Two audiences, two comments. Internal notes stay with your team. Client comments belong in the shared discussion. Keep the team instruction as Internal and create a separate Client comment for the question. - 04
Create a review link for the client
Close the open comment by clicking outside it. In the right sidebar, open the Info tab and click the Share icon in the File section. You can also open the Asset usage tab and use the more prominent Share button there. Both open the sharing dialog.
Under Audience, choose Anyone with the link. Under Share as, choose For review. This lets the recipient view the image and leave comments.
For this example, keep downloads off and use a 30-day expiry. Check the summary beneath For review: Expires in 30 days · No downloads. These settings let the client review the image through the link while limiting downloads and how long the link remains available.
Click Create link. In the confirmation dialog, click Copy beside the shareable link. This is the link to send to the client. Anyone who has it can access the review, so share it with the intended recipient.
- 05
Check the client’s view and try a reply
Open a private browser window, or a separate browser profile where you are not signed in to your workspace. Paste the copied review link into the address bar. This lets you check the recipient’s view without your workspace access.
On the shared file page, open Comments in the right sidebar. Select the question asking the client to confirm the cap. The marked area appears on the image. Your internal team note should not be visible in this session.
In the open comment, enter a reply: “Confirmed. Please update the cap to burnt orange and keep the bottle body unchanged.” Click Save and check that the reply appears in the discussion.
You now have a private instruction for your team, a client confirmation tied to the marked area, and a working review link. Your team can use that confirmation when making the requested edit.
Check the result
- The client session shows your Client comment and not your Internal note.
- Your reply appears under the client question.
- The share summary reads “Expires in 30 days · No downloads”.
If it didn’t work
The client can see my team note.
Open the comment and check its visibility. Team instructions must be set to Internal; only Client comments appear on the review link.
The client can’t leave a comment.
The link was probably created as view-only. Create a new link and choose For review under Share as.
The image preview isn’t ready yet.
Large files take a moment to process after upload. Wait for the thumbnail in Assets, then open the file again.
