Catch up on
your team’s activity.
After time away, mentions and requests from your team are spread across assets and projects, and you don’t know what needs you first.
By the end, you went through Unread, opened the thread and the project that needed you, and cleared the rest.
Before you start
- You’re a member of the workspace.

Here's how to catch up on what your team did while you were away.
A dot on Notifications means something new is waiting. Open it, then select Unread.
Unread lists the notifications you haven't read yet, newest first. Alex asked you for an internal check and mentioned you in two comments.
Click a mention to open it.
You land right on the comment thread, and the notification is marked read. You can reply in the box below.
Back in Unread, the mention you opened is gone. The internal check takes you to its project.
Needs attention shows the check that's waiting for you. Recent activity lists what Alex set up.
Clear one notification with its check mark, or mark everything in this workspace read at once. The count clears right away; the list updates when you reopen it.
Mentions you haven't read after about ten minutes also arrive by email. To stop those emails, turn off Email notifications in your profile, on the Account tab.
Start with Unread, open what needs you, and clear the rest.
Search across all videos and guides.
Start with Unread, open what needs you, clear the rest.
While you were away, Alex asked you for an internal check and mentioned you in two comments. Notifications collects all of it in one place, and each row takes you to where the work is.
Sign in to your workspace to follow along.

Open Notifications
A dot on Notifications, at the bottom of the sidebar, means something new is waiting. Open it, then select Unread.
- 02
Go through Unread
Unread lists the notifications you haven’t read yet, newest first. Here: an internal check assigned to you on “Harbor & Pine holiday labels”, and two comments where Alex Morgan mentioned you.
- 03
Open a mention
Click a mention to open it. You land right on the comment thread, and the notification is marked read. You can reply in the box below.
- 04
Open the internal check
Back in Unread, the mention you opened is gone. The internal check takes you to its project.
There, Needs attention shows the check that’s waiting for you, “Front label is ready for your internal check”, with Open check. Recent activity lists what Alex set up.
- 05
Clear the rest
Clear one notification with its check mark, or mark everything in this workspace read at once, for example with Mark 1 unread in this workspace read.
The count clears right away. The rows clear from Unread when you reopen Notifications.
- 06
Choose whether mentions reach your email
Mentions you haven’t read after about ten minutes also arrive by email. To stop those emails, open your profile, go to the Account tab, and turn off Email notifications (“Email me when a teammate mentions me in a comment.”).
In short: start with Unread, open what needs you, and clear the rest.
Check the result
- You opened Notifications and selected Unread.
- You opened each row that needs you: a mention lands on its comment thread, an internal check on its project.
- You cleared the rest with a row’s check mark, or with “Mark N unread in this workspace read”.
If it didn’t work
I marked everything read, but the rows are still listed.
The count and the highlight clear right away. The rows clear from Unread when you reopen Notifications.
Can I turn off some kinds of notifications?
No. There are no settings per notification type. The only switch is Email notifications in your profile.
I turned off Email notifications and stopped getting internal check emails too.
That’s expected. The switch’s label mentions comments only, but it also turns off the emails about an internal check assigned to you.
